Un círculo perfecto. Esto es lo que se ve desde arriba (Helicóptero) cuando uno
mira a la colina de Kasta, donde está la
tumba de Anfípolis.
Deinokratis (amigo de Alejandro Magno) ,el arquitecto del antiguo recinto de mármol
era perfectamente consciente de la geometría y el trabajo que hizo fue impecable.
Las imágenes desde un helicóptero muestran
todo el perímetro de la Tumba , que es de 497
metros. Esto significa que el diámetro es de unos 150 metros, así que es lo
suficientemente grande como para contener otras tumbas.
Esto
no está comprobado por los arqueólogos,
pero en el futuro será develado.

Con respecto a la idea de que haya más de
una cámara , sabemos que el Gran Túmulo
de Vergina (Tumba de Filipo II), no es
una sola tumba, sino tres.
La
de Anfípolis no fue investigada en profundidad . Las fotografías muestran sin
embargo que ha habido excavaciones profundas y que estas no han progresado hacia el centro de
la colina para verificar que sólo haya
una tumba .
En las tumbas de este tipo, , hay más de
una Cámara Fúnebre . Tenemos una multitud de ejemplos.
Un Monumento como Anfípolis, se construía mucho antes del fallecimiento del destinatario
,porque este trabajo no podía hacerse con los muertos a la espera de que se termine la obra para ser sepultados .
En cuanto al estado del vestíbulo hallado ,
se ha descubierto un hueco que se encuentra en la pared de mármol que separa
el vestíbulo de las dos cámaras inferiores.
Este Vestíbulo tiene seis metros de profundidad en la entrada al monumento.
Algunos creen que la profanación de la
tumba es probable, y se refieren al agujero que aparece en la pared y además de que las Esfinges, que inicialmente tenía una
altura de dos metros; han sido
dañadas ya que están descabezadas y sin
sus alas .
Otros creen (Ver Entrada “ AMPHÍPOLIS NEWS
08/29/2014 “) que los daños son por otras razones y el hueco en la
pared obedece a un intento de desorientación destinado a posibles saqueadores .
Todo sigue en estudio …
No obstante continúa el trabajo de fijación y mantenimiento de las estructuras halladas
,por parte de los Arqueólogos con el fin
de proporcionar la protección necesaria.
Los más sensibles son los colores (rojo y
negro) , que pueden desaparecer rápidamente en el lapso de algunos días , si no
se resguardan de inmediato .
Se estableció un comité multidisciplinario (Arqueólogos ,
Ingenieros , Geólogos etc ) para mantenimiento y restauración .

A perfect circle. This is what is seen from
above (helicopter) when you look at Kasta hill, where the grave Amphipolis is .

With regard to the idea of having more than one camera, we know the Great
Tumulus of Vergina (Tomb of Philip II), is not a single
grave, but three.
The Amphipolis was not investigated in
depth. The photographs show however that there has been deep excavations and
that these have not progressed towards the center of the hill to verify a tomb

In the tombs of this type, there are more
than one Funeral House. We have a multitude of examples.
A Monument as Amphipolis, is built before
the death the deceased , because this work could not be done with the dead ,
waiting to the work

As for the status of found lobby, has been
discovered , which there a hole in the wall that separating the marble lobby of
the two lower chambers.
This lobby has six meters deep at the
entrance to the monument.
Some believe that the desecration of the
grave is probable, and refer to the hole in the wall, further that the
Sphinxes, which initially had a height of two meters; have been damaged as they
are headless without his wings.
Others believe (See in "Amphipolis
NEWS 08/29/2014") that damage are for other reasons and the hole in the
wall is due to an effort aimed at disorienting potential looters.
Everything is still under study ...
Yet still work for fixing and maintaining
the structures found by Archaeologists
order to provide the necessary protection of the Monument.

black), which can disappear quickly in the span of a few days, if not are protected immediately.
