Magno , amigos , gente
de la Corte.
Los PEZHETAIROI o
falangistas, los“compañeros de a pié”, la columna vertebral del Ejército MACEDONIO
Los HETAIROI (ἑταῖροι, “compañeros”) constituían la caballería de élite del ejército de Alejandro
Magno. Además de arma ofensiva, hacían las veces de
guardia personal del Rey y realizaban acciones que requerían rapidez.
Arqueros y
Honderos , eran hostigadores y en ocasiones acompañaban a la carrera a la
caballería.
En los
movimientos rápidos , que eran frecuentes , Alejandro se desplazaba con su
Escolta real , Hipaspistas , Arqueros y Agrianos .
Los HIPASPISTAS (Hupaspistai ton
hetairon) “Escuderos de los Compañeros" ,eran ayudantes y terminaron
siendoTropa de Élite,una fuerza multifacética , capaz de ser infantería ligera
, infantería pesada o tropa de élite.
Los Hipaspistas
y Agrianos eran el nexo entre la Caballería y la Falange, la bisagra entre el
martillo y el yunque.
La Falange
contenía a la infantería enemiga (yunque) y la cabellaría completaba el ataque
por el flanco o por la retaguardia (martilo) .
ALEJANDRO MAGNO Después de cada conquista importante hacía
celebrar sacrificios a los dioses y competiciones de equitación y gimnasia.
Cuando era
necesario hacer una demostración de fuerza ,se realizaba un desfile militar con
los soldados fuertemente armados.

COMPONENTS OF FORCE
SOMATOPHYLAKES (Bodyguard-Royal

AGRIANIANS (Ancient Greek: Ἀγρίανες)
, were Thracians, light infantry with javelins and small shields.
The
Hypaspists and Agrianians were the link between the Cavalry and the Falange,

The Falange containing enemy
infantry (ANVIL) and cavalry completed the attack by the flank or rearguard (HAMMER).
ALEXANDER , after each important achievement performed sacrifices to the gods , riding and
gymnastics competitions and others recreative activities .
When it was necessary to make a show of force, a
military Parade was performed with heavily armed soldiers.
