Nos acercamos a un momento crucial en la
investigación de Anfípolis : entrar en la sala cuarta .
Se avanza paso a paso y metódicamente y el equipo
arqueológico se encuentran a pocos metros del gran secreto.
El esfuerzo se centra en acceder a el cuarto vestíbulo a través del hueco de 0.96 cm (foto). ¿será la sala principal de la tumba
o solo un vestíbulo más ?
Se intenta insistentemente en encontrar el camino que
lleve a las entrañas del monumento funerario.
La apertura como se indicó es 0,96 metros.
El área presenta grandes problemas de estática ,
sobretodo la sala tercera ,aunque la
perspectiva de una cámara funeraria cavada directamente en la roca, y no construida
como los vestíbulos descubiertos hasta el momento se muestra cada vez más
posible.
Los geólogos creen que-por razones de estática, el
cuarto vestíbulo puede haber sido construido excavando en roca natural, hasta
el techo y que puede tener forma de arco.
Sin embargo la combinación de la puerta de mármol
roto y la pequeña apertura en la cuarta pared septal, sugeriría la existencia
de una cuarta cámara sucesiva.
Pero en este caso ,existiría la posibilidad de un
daño potencial del recinto por terremotos ocurridos en la zona y/o el bombardeo
del Ejército Búlgaro en 1913.

Mientras el trabajo de la excavación está
progresando día a día , crece el misterio sobre el "ocupante" de la
tumba, y a pesar de las innumerables teorías no se puede decir con certeza quién
es el destinatario de este monumento funerario.
Ya dijimos que es una Tumba Macedonica , aunque muy
particular y con posible influencia egipcia por los rellenos de arena en los
vestíbulos descubiertos .
Cuando fallecía el Rey o alguno de su Familia ,en la
Macedonia Antigua . era costumbre cremar los cuerpos reales , depositarlos en una Urna de oro y guardarlos en una
importante Tumba .
Esta Tumba posteriormente se cubría con toneladas
de tierra en forma de montículo (Túmulo) , el cual era mas alto cuanto mas
importante era el difunto ,
Caso típico de esto es la Tumba de Filipo II de
Macedonia , padre de Alejandro Magno , en la actual Vergina (Grecia) , antigua
Agai .

Este video nos puede dar una idea clara de lo que
es una Tumba macedonia clásica , con los restos del difunto y sus pertenencias
mas preciosas .
Aunque en el caso de Anfípolis hay particularidades
que la hacen única , tanto que la Sala cuarta puede ser en realidad un corredor
que lleve a un ámbito Principal con acceso a varias Cámaras funerarias según el
siguiente esquema .

We are approaching to crucial moment in the
investigation of Amphipolis : enter the fourth room.
The effort is focused on access to the fourth Hall.
Is the main room of the Tomb or only one lobby?
Archaeologists tries hard to find the path leading
to the bowels of the funerary monument.
The opening as stated, is 0.96 meters.
The area presents great problems of static,
especially the third room, although the prospect of a burial chamber dug
directly into the rock ( not built as the halls which were discovered so far) ,
could be possible.
Geologists believe that for static reasons, the
fourth Hall may have been built excavated in natural rock, up to the ceiling
and it can take form of arc.
However
the combination of the broken marble door and the small opening (0.96 mts) in
the fourth septal wall , would suggest the existence of a fourth successive
Chamber.
But
in this case, there is the possibility of a potential damage to the enclosure
by earthquakes in the area or the bombing of the Bulgarian army in 1913.

While
the excavation work is progressing every day, grow the mystery about the
"occupant" of the Tomb, and despite countless theories cannot be said
with certainty who is in this funerary
monument.
We
have already said that is a Macedonian Tomb, although very particular and with
possible Egyptian influence
When the King or any of his family died , in the
ancient Macedonia was custom cremate bodies and deposit them in a golden urn
and leave them in a large Tomb.
This
tomb subsequently was covered with tons of Earth in the form of mound
(Tumulus), which was more high the more important was the deceased.
Typical
case of this is the tomb of Philip II of Macedon, father of Alejandro Magno, in
the current Vergina (Greece), ancient Agai.

belongings .
Although there are peculiarities that make unique the case of Amphipolis , while fourth
room can actually be a corridor leading to a main room with access to several
